Holy Hot Chicken

Built on flavor, crunch, and determination.

Holy Hot Chicken began in an unexpected place — inside a busy pizza shop in Windsor, Ontario. While running the restaurant, we were always experimenting with new ideas, but none of us expected a small side project to grow into its own brand.

Moe, the son of one of the two partners, has always loved food and has a great palate. One of his favorites was Nashville-style hot chicken, but it was not really available in Windsor, so he would usually cross the border into the Detroit area whenever he wanted the real thing.

One day, Moe started experimenting in our kitchen using ingredients we already had in the shop. His excitement quickly pulled both partners, Sam and Ramzi, into the process. Together, we tested seasoning blends, sauces, breading, and cooking methods until the recipe started to come alive.

It was not easy. There were setbacks, disappointing batches, and plenty of moments where we had to go back and try again. But with determination, hard work, and a lot of tasting, we finally created a Nashville hot chicken recipe we were truly proud of — one we felt could stand with, and even beat, the hot chicken we loved across the border.

We began sharing it with family, close friends, and loyal customers. The response was immediate. Word spread quickly, sales climbed within weeks, and before long the hot chicken started taking over the pizza sales. That was when we realized this was more than a menu item — it deserved its own name, its own home, and its own brand.

Today, Holy Hot Chicken is built on that same spirit: bold flavor, real crunch, fresh ingredients, and the belief that great food comes from passion, persistence, and never settling until it tastes right.

CRISPY. SAUCY. BLESSED WITH FLAVOR.
